How Jiminy Cricket Was Created

Ever since I got the "How to Draw Jiminy Cricket Model Guide Book", I've been inspired to draw this. Then again, it was originally inspired when I remember watching the Wonderful World of Disney episode, "The Plausible Impossible". There's a scene when the artist (I can't remember who, but I'd probably say it was Walt drew him) drew Donald Duck on paper. Anyone remember that scene in that episode? Also, I was also inspired by watching Chuck Jones' masterpiece, "Duck Amuck" featuring Daffy Duck.

Anyways, this thing took about.....a week. Yes, a week. Its just there's so little time to complete this as well as finishing other artwork because of my birthday occuring on a weekend as well as my nephew's the day after. So that's the reason why I'm slow to complete these and that's a good thing. I've never tried to rush things, but as long as you think its completed, then its done.

Back to this drawing, I'd think I couldn't be more happy to drew Jiminy's expression that good to start with. Heck, I could even imagine how he was created like that in the first place especially when the pencil drew him as well as the paintbrush to finish it off. Oh well, I'm glad this thing is done so I can actually focus on coloring my "And Perhaps Some Day" and the other one too.

I'd seriously think that I could do more effort to make the sketch drawings really sketchy, but oh well. xD
